Well, the summer is in full swing and although the ocean has been an uncooperative nuisance this year thusfar, there are still other species to chase. Estuary Sturgeon remain high on the list as does summer steelhead on the Columbia. If you are looking for another alternative till the ocean calms down, come give some of these species a try. There are fun to catch and excellent on the table. Tight lines and call me if you want to fish the ocean for salmon or tuna… Its not going to stay this blustery forever. Tight Lines all.

Did a quick trip this AM and the Easter Bunny left this in my basket. Nice little girl….
I am using a new brine this year and it is working quite well. Glad I got this girl before the tide backed up the muddy water in my favorite spot.
Technicals – Chartreuce Fish Flash, 8 Ozs of lead trolled dead slow in 25′ of water. Water temp was 46.9 and seems to be holding there all week at my favorite spot. Call me for a trip, I have plenty of room on most days and I may be had for a good deal.

Another successful day on the Big Columbia on Friday… Its time to go get them… Things are heating up and I just got the new lower unit kit with a prop on the boat and its the ticket to get more fishing time when making those downhill trolls. Buoy 10 upstream to the I-5 Bridge: Seven days per week from March 1 through April 18, except closed on the following Tuesdays: March 9, 16, 23 and 30.
I-5 Bridge upstream to I-205 Bridge: Seven days per week from March 1-14, except closed on Tuesday March 9. Beginning March 18 through April 3, fishing will be limited to three days per week, Thursday through Saturday.
I-205 Bridge upstream to Bonneville Dam: Bank angling only, seven days per week from March 1-14, except closed on Tuesday March 9. Beginning March 18 through April 3, fishing will be limited to three days per week, Thursday through Saturday.
Bonneville Dam to McNary Dam: Seven days per week from March 16 through May 31. Bank fishing only from Bonneville Dam upstream to the Tower Island power lines, six miles downstream from The Dalles Dam.

Had a great couple days Friday & Saturday with happy customers and lots of fish….. The sturgeon in the Gorge are plentiful & hungry and Tillamook kicked up 3 fish for us on Saturday the 10th. Tillamook is in its prime for the fall run and there are plenty willing takers. Call today & book your trip…. There is no better value out there for a great fishing experience.
